Weekly Meeting Agenda

(when school is in session / excluding holiday breaks)

Every Wednesday after school until 4:30

3:30 – meeting begins

players seated without boards

coach(s) answer any questions & review “homework” assignment

coach(s) provide lesson(s) on chess topic

divide players into (3) three skill sections

3:45 – play begins

players set-up the boards they brought from home

coach(s) assigns opponent based on skill level

players begin ladder competition – coach(s) monitor

4:15 – play ends

players break-down their sets & coach(s) answer any questions

assign ‘homework’ for next week

4:30 – meeting ends – players leave building – housekeeping of meeting room
